Biography

At some point, Bruce Wayne chose Stephanie Brown, alongside Carrie Kelley, Daxton Chill and Duke Thomas, as a potential future recruit and successor to the then-late Jason Todd as Robin.

Behind the scenes

• In the DC comics, Stephanie Brown is the daughter of Batman villain Cluemaster, later becoming the vigilante Spoiler, as a foil to her father. She briefly assumed the mantle of Robin during Tim Drake's short-lived retirement and, after the events of Battle for the Cowl, succeeded Cassandra Cain as Batgirl. She debuted in Detective Comics #647 (August, 1992).
