"Listen, Roberta is a little eccentric. But I trust her."
Dick Grayson about Roberta[src]

Roberta[1] is an expert on extra-terrestrial languages, ally and advisor to the Titans.

Biography[]

During her life Roberta became an expert in all manner of extra-terrestrial topics, including Trigonic prophecies and ancient Tamaranean languages that not even Kory knew. Despite her eccentric nature she was highly regarded and trusted by Dick Grayson and presumably Bruce Wayne too for her talents.

She's excited to meet Kory, but is confused that her powers are blue as opposed to orange. As asked, Roberta translates the ancient prophecy, informing Kory that the use of her full potential will save Humanity from Trigon but will also end Kory as she is now.

In a video call, she advises Rachel that she may not necessarily be able to sense The Horn as it has been dormant for years, speculating that it could be her power that resurfaces it.

Personality[]

Roberta is described by Dick as eccentric, and appears to have an obsessive personality directed towards extra-terrestrial topics, whether they be authentic or not. She displays neurotic symptoms and appears suspicious by nature, particularly adverse to the idea that Kory may be pretending to be a Tamaranean. She is delighted to meet Kory after seeing proof, was keen on updating the data she has in her collection, such as a myth about the scent of Tamaraneans. Roberta seems to miss or not care for social cues and niceties, coming off direct and even rude to newcomers. She is shown to be a compassionate individual, as she is just as concerned for Kory's welfare in the prophecy as Kory herself and is enthusiastically willing to help the Titans further through video calls.

Abilities[]

  • Multilingual: Roberta is an expert in a multitude of languages, primarily extra-terrestrial ones from real, such as Tamaranean to fictional, such as Klingon.
  • Extra-Terrestrial Knowledge: As well as languages, Roberta is proven to have extensive knowledge of other aliens and their interventions on Earth that she shares with the Titans.
