"[...] I remember thinking, that's the loneliest man I've ever seen. Why is he so lonely? I've gotta do something about that."
—Julia about Sebastian[src]

Julie[1] was a resident of Metropolis and the ex-girlfriend of Sebastian Sanger. She became a loyal acolyte to the Church of Blood, fuelled by her love for Sebastian, and gave her life to serve him.

Biography[]

Some time prior to the season premiere, Julie entered the taxidermy store where Sebastian worked and thought it was the loneliest man she had ever seen, deciding then and there that she had to do something about that. The pair began dating, during which they saw each other every day for six months and during this time Julie met and got along well with Sebastian's foster mother Sandra Sanger. Sandra asked after Julie, recalling that she likes her and that Julie is good for Sebastian.[1]

On their sixth month anniversary, Julie predicted Sebastian would forget and didn't mind, instead recounting her thoughts of when she first met him and giving him a gift; a red Game Boy just like the one Sandra had given him when he first went to live with her. Julie was shocked that her actions offended Sebastian, and was left distraught when he abruptly broke up with her.[2]

Julie eventually is indoctrinated into the Church of Blood and is brought before Sebastian by May Bennett on her knees beside Lila, his foster sister, and Mr. Ross, his former teacher.[2]

As a loyal acolyte and personally close to Sebastian once, Julie is near by when Sebastian rises naked from the pool of blood and steps forward to wrap a cloak around him.[3]

She is called upon by Mother Mayhem for a spell requiring the heart of someone truly devoted to Sebastian. Julie expresses she is honored to be chosen, and that she has loved Sebastian wholly ever since she met him. She lets her heart get torn out by May.[4]
