Cadmus Industries is a chemical factory in San Francisco that served as a predecessor to Cadmus Laboratories.

Lex Luthor created Cadmus Industries so he could attempt to create a clone of Superman. Dr. Eve Watson eventually began working at Cadmus and came up with the idea to use human DNA to stabilize the Kryptonian genes. Luthor then attempted to create multiple clones by combining his DNA with Superman's. The experiments were responsible for causing an isobutylene explosion which killed sixteen people and led to the facility being condemned. The lab's remaining assets were eventually relocated to Metropolis and used in the new Cadmus Laboratories facility.[1]
Eve Watson eventually brought Conner to the condemned Cadmus Industries facility to show him Luthor's failed attempts to create a Superman clone and teach him about his origin.[1]
